- The California Elder Justice Coalition's (CEJC) Caregiving Subcommittee has released a policy brief describing the interface between caregiving and elder abuse. It highlights the need for caregiver services, promoting caregiver assessments that identify caregivers’ needs and identify high risk situations, and holding abusive caregivers accountable.
- Read tips and share our newly created factsheet The Grandparent Scam- What You Need to Know. This scam involves someone calling or emailing an elder and claiming to be his/her grandchild. The person then scams the elder by stating that he/she is traveling, has gotten into a bad situation and needs money.
